Apply Offline: BDO, SDO and KMC Ward Office Route Explained
How the West Bengal government describes offline Family Level Data Collection and Annapurna Yojana submission routes.
Applicants who do not want to use the online Family Level Data Collection Portal have an offline route. The Government of West Bengal's Annapurna Yojana information says forms can be submitted at designated BDO, SDO or Kolkata Municipal Corporation ward offices.
BDO route
Block Development Offices commonly serve applicants in block-level rural administrative areas. Use the office responsible for your location and follow its current submission instructions.
SDO route
Sub-Divisional Offices may serve applicants in the areas or categories specified by the scheme process. Do not assume any SDO can process every application; confirm the designated office for your address.
KMC ward offices
For applicable Kolkata Municipal Corporation residents, the government page identifies KMC ward offices as an offline submission route.
Take original documents carefully
Carry the documents specified by the current government instructions and keep copies for your own records where appropriate. Do not hand original identity documents to an unrelated intermediary.
Get a receipt or reference when available
If the office provides an acknowledgement, application number or receipt, preserve it. That information can help later when checking status or raising a grievance.
Online alternative
The official online service remains socialregistry.wb.gov.in. See the status-check guide for the citizen portal flow after application.
