The portal says Citizen / Family Login uses the mobile number supplied during the application process and a one-time password. That means the relevant mobile number needs to remain accessible for the government verification step.

Basic status-check flow

1. Open the official socialregistry.wb.gov.in portal.
2. Choose the citizen or family access option.
3. Use the same mobile number that was provided with the application.
4. Complete the OTP verification generated by the government portal.
5. Review the application information or status displayed by the system.

If the mobile number is unavailable

Do not enter another person's number or share OTPs with a third-party website. If the official flow cannot verify the number, use the help or office route provided by the responsible government authority rather than trying to bypass the verification step.
